# ☆ Minerva Smp Lore

### ✧ THE ORIGIN OF THE WORLD ✧

Long before kingdoms… There was only the world. Not ruled. Not shaped. Just… alive. Fire burned because it wanted to. Oceans moved because they could. Nature grew without reason. Magic wasn’t something you used. It simply was. As more people became connected, civilizations rose. Kingdoms formed around different forces: \
• Flame-dominant lands \
• Ocean-bound cities \
• Overgrown wild sanctuaries \
• Void-touched territories Some thrived. Some fell. But one stood different from the rest.

***

### ✧ MINERVA ✧

The Kingdom of the Shardbound Minerva wasn’t built on one force. It was built on all of them. A place where every origin was accepted and every force had a voice. Balance wasn’t enforced… it was lived. Minerva became known as: The living representation of the world’s consciousness as a whole. The closest thing the network had to harmony.

***

### ✧ THE FALL ✧

Minerva didn’t fall in a single battle. It collapsed under everything at once. The network itself becoming unstable, the balance holding the world together shattered with it.

***

### ✧ AFTERMATH ✧

After it fell, the people of Minerva had to rebuild. While they were, they found new structures in their world. Towers. Not just ruins, but anchors to the Network. Fragments of what the old Minerva held. \
These towers contain: \
• trapped spirits to the unstable world to be freed (mobs) \
• remains (loot and event focused stuff) \
• sealed energy (currency/shard stuff?)

***

### ✧ PRESENT DAY ✧

Where is Minerva now? The people of Minerva aren’t just surviving. They’re doing what no one else can which is reclaiming the Towers. But not for power. \
For balance. Because every tower left unstable: \
• Strengthens one force too much \
• Weakens another \
• Pushes the world closer to collapse

***

### ✧ TO THE PLAYERS ✧

You’re not just exploring. You are reclaiming lost anchors of balance and deciding how forces shape the world. All to rebuild Minerva’s place in the Network. But… you’re still human. \
So instead of perfect balance, you will: \
• form alliances \
• compete for control \
• choose what to stabilize… or exploit

### ✧ THE SHARDBOUND ROLES ✧

Each Origin carries a role in restoring the balance of Minerva’s Towers… whether they follow it, or not.

***

#### Human

• A perfectly average being. No gifts, no curses just pure adaptability.

***

#### Tideborn (Ocean)

• A child of the deep ocean. Powerful in water, weakened on land.

***

#### Veilwalker (Air)

• A being woven from shadow and silence. You move unseen and unheard, draining life from those who fall before you. Darkness sharpens your senses, magic slips from your form, and even the dead hesitate to strike. But your body is frail, and in direct combat, you will not last long.

***

#### Thornkin (Forest)

• A hardened guardian of the forest. Your body is reinforced with bark and thorns, punishing those who strike you. You thrive among nature, but flame tears through you with ease.

***

#### Faeborn (Fairy)

• A tiny fairy spirit bound to nature. Agile, magical, and fragile.

***

#### Dragonkin (Dragon)

• A descendant of dragons. Devastating power, but unstable and volatile.

***

#### Voidwalker (End)

• A being forged in the End, where reality fractures and power takes form. You bend space with ease, strike with crushing force, and drain life from those who fall before you. Magic falters against you, and in the End, your strength becomes overwhelming.

***

#### Ashblood (Nether)

• Forged in the Nether. Immune to flame, but water burns like acid.

***

#### Mythborne (Fantasy)

• A legendary hero archetype. Strong and fast, but burns energy quickly.

***

#### Arcanist (Magic)

• A master of magic. Powerful spells, weak physical combat.
